Eventhough our physical condition sets us limits, we decided to get a young female, daughter of Matydla (Harricana) black ang white Igraine. We call her Jiskra (means spark) and it seems she indeed has one! She is naturally tailless and lovely strong bone. We will see, how she develops.
The very first club show is behind us and our young Jiskra passed like a piece of cake. The is very talented bitch with an excellent ballanced character and she is very easy to work with.
April 2024:
Jiskra (Igraine) has grown up into a strong bitch. Her first hunting season is already a history. She worked well in the pheasantry, where she enjoyed tracking and retrieving, but from time to time she struggled with orientation. Now she is in traning for TAN and ZV (basic hunting tests). She points gladly and well, so we will see how she is going to perform at the day of tests. The only problem I see is very low number of wildlife in our region in Benešov. Our area is center of focus of one of the big farming companies and not much life was left in field and woods.
